1920-21 Sedment
The team excavated between 17 December 1920 and 25 April 1921.
- Brunton led excavations in Cemetery 2100 with the assistance of Bach and Neilson, which were published in the excavation memoir Sedment I.
- Brunton also worked in the Mayana cemeteries (Cemetery K), which was published in the excavation memoir Sedment I.
- Bach conducted worked on Dynasty 19 and 20 burials in Cemetery C, grave numbers 2010-2023, and published in the excavation memoir Sedment II.
Some objects from this season of work (along with Harageh, Lahun, Gurob and Sedment) were distributed after the Second World War in 1948 and 1949 by Hilda Petrie having been stored at University College London. In these cases it is not always clear which tomb the material is from, although the objects were (according to Hilda Petrie) distinguished by site with the use of letters: H, L, G and S, corresponding to the different sites.
