The season began in early January and ended on April 16th. Blackman corrected his proofs of Senbi I's tomb-chapel, and the inscritpions of all of the Dynasty 12 tombs were copied and some of the important ones for Dynasty 6. On March 15, a new 12th Dynasty chapel dedicated to Pepyankh was uncovered to the south and subsequently cleared. The middle and the interior of the structure was photographed and the inscriptions were copied.
