Philadelphia, PA, University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology
The University Museum was founded in 1887. Between 1892 and 1913 it was officially called the 'Free Museum of Science and Art', although commonly referred to as the 'University Museum'.
Objects from Tell Dafana from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Philadelphia were transferred to the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam.
