Sir Robert Mond
Sir Robert Mond (1867—1938) was originally a British chemist who became director of Brunner-Mond and Company. He had a passionate interest in Egyptian archaeology and in the late 1920s and 1930s he personally financed fieldwork at Armant, led by archaeologist Oliver H. Myers.
