The archives of the Egypt Exploration Society (formerly Egypt Exploration Fund) have a letter from Kensington palace dated October 1904 thanking the Fund for an “interesting collection of objects found by Mr Naville and Mr Hall at Deir el-Bahri”, an excavation that Princess Henry of Battenberg had visited during her tour of Egypt. The list (DIST 21.43) includes: "disk beads, scarab, ear, rosette, 2 eyes, 2 beads, diad and a cat's head'
