Artefacts of Excavation

Bashkatib​ is written in capital letters faintly in pencil on this First Dynasty stone vessel and refers to the station of Bashkatib​ where the cemetery that this object was found out was near. It is tomb number 758 and the 'L' refers to the fact that the general area and season was at Lahun.

باشكاتب  كتبت بأحرف كبيرة بـقلم رصاص ذو خط خفيف على هذا الإناء الحجري (BASHKATIB) وهو يعود إلى الأسرة الأولى وتشير إلى محطة باشكاتب القريبة من الجبانة التي عثر بها على هذا الإناء .  'تشير إلى أن منطقة الحفائر والموسم كان في اللاهون. L هو رقم المقبرة و ' 758
