1888-89 Hawara

Type of fieldwork:
Relevant archive holdings:
London, Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology
Distribution Notes:

The archival records for these excavations are limited. After division in Cairo and return to the UK the material was divided up between Petrie, Haworth and Kennard, who each then sent material to various locations that are not always fully recorded.

A considerable amount of botanical material was forwarded by the British Museum to Kew Gardens in London around 1978.
