<p>Rev. William Copley Winslow (1840-1925). Founded the American Branch of the Egypt Exploration Fund in 1883, but was removed from office in 1902 following disputes with the London office. He later became hon. treasurer and hon. Vice President of the American Branch of the British School of Archaeology in Egypt.</p>
