Notes on distribution:

The Rhode Island School of Design archives include several letters from 1911 that explain the distribution. Earle Rowe of the Boston Museum of Fine Art wrote to Mrs Gustave Radeke (secretary of the RISD Museum Committee) on 11 July following a visit to the Boston Egypt Exploration Fund offices in July 1911 to look over a recent shipment of material. He was informed that given many museums aleady possessed much of what was in the crates that some material could be offered to the School of Design.

With thanks to John Baines and RISD Associate Archivist Douglas Doe for the information.
