Artefacts of Excavation

The minutes of the EEF committee dated 5 June 1900 record that the Lahore Museum had requested Egyptian antiquities and that the EEF would send objects when they next became available. The request is likely to have come from the newly appointed curator of Lahore Museum, Percy Brown, who had excavated with the EEF the previous year.

Salima Ikram enquired at the museum after these things in July 2016 and they confirmed that they have been digitizing the collection but have not come across anything Egyptian so it may be the case that nothing was ever sent.
