Some consignments of material were dispatched to Buckman with the explicit purpose of being displayed in the EEF American office. For example, the EEF Committee minutes for 26 July 1910 note that 'some prehistoric pottery and other minor objects should be sent to Mrs Buckman for display in the American office of the Fund’. A similar note is entered into the minutes for 7 December 1909: 'It was resolved that some spare antiquities should be sent for display in the American office of the Fund'. What happened to these objects subsequently is unknown.
