Season summary: 

A total of 277 Predynastic graves, 9 Second Dynasty burials and 12 New Kingdom burials were recorded. 

The Predynastic graves were pit burials, roughly oval-rectangular in shape, usually containing single inhumations wrapped in a mat and surrounded by grave offerings such as pottery, stone vessels, beads, ornaments and cosmetic palettes. Objects were numbered with numerals 1-296, with no additional distinguishing letter.
