  • Peet began excavations in cemetery E, which contained Predynastic graves and shaft tombs of the Old and Middle Kingdoms, in the area more recently referred to as the 'Middle Cemetery' at Abydos.. This is not to be confused with the separate 'Cemetery E' excavated at Abydos by John Garstang in the 'North Cemetery'.
  • Peet also continued to lead work in cemetery F, cemetery G, cemetery K, cemetery L, cemetery M, cemetery M, cemetery O,  cemetery W, cemetery Y and cemetery Z which are all located on the area usually referred to as the 'North cemetery' at Abydos. Most burials date to the Middle Kingdom and
  • Peet's teams also conducted excavations in cemetery T and cemetery R, which are on the area today referred to as the 'Middle Cemetery', but referred to by Peet as the 'South cemetery'.
  • Naville led excavations in the Umm el-Qa'ab.
