The state museum, now known as WA Museum Boola Bardip is in the Perth Cultural Centre. It was first established as a Geology museum in 1891 but ethnological and biological collections were added the following year. 

Notes on distribution: 

In Richards et al's (2021) Egypt in Australia volume, it is noted (p.9) that the museum has a small collection of archaeological items from 'Esna, Hissayeh and Hierakonpolis'.
