Sarah Yorke Stevenson, who had been instrumental in the foundation and growth of the archaeology collections at the University of Pennsylvania's Museum, was curator at the Pennsylvania Museum, later known as the Philadelphia Art Museum after 1905. Its ancient Egyptian collection is now on loan to the University of Pennsylvania Museum, also in Philadelphia.
