Khamsin (Faiyum)

Site description: 

The site is located to the west of Talit and close to 10 kilometers from Umm el-Baragat and some of the Ptolemaic tombs were investigated in 1900 when Grenfell and Hunt were excavating there. The Roman cemetery is east of the Ptolemaic cemetery.
