1948-49 Amara West

Season summary: 

Excavations lasted from 12 December 1948-2 March 1949 and focused on completing excavations in the west section of the town and the remains of the Palace. Excavations outside the east enclosure wall uncovered buildings, garden structures and animal mummies.
